Does the science back this up?
MK-677 does increase growth hormone and IGF-1 levels. That part's accurate. The SARM study by Svensson et al. (J Clin Endocrinol Metab, 1998) showed 89% and 67% increases in GH and IGF-1 respectively in healthy adults taking 25mg daily.
But here's where it gets murky. Murphy et al. (J Clin Endocrinol Metab, 1998) found 1.8kg lean mass gain over 8 weeks in elderly subjects. That's not nothing, but it's not the dramatic muscle-building effect often claimed on social media.
The bone density claims come from studies in elderly populations, not healthy young adults. Svensson's research showed modest improvements in bone markers, but actual fracture prevention data doesn't exist.
