What to Expect
Your journey begins with a comprehensive 75-minute nutrition assessment where we review your health history, current eating patterns, lifestyle factors, and specific goals. We'll discuss any medical conditions, medications, or dietary restrictions that might influence your nutrition plan.
After your assessment, we create a personalized nutrition strategy that includes specific meal and snack recommendations, portion guidelines, and practical tips for your unique situation. Follow-up appointments (usually 2-3 weeks apart initially) allow us to monitor progress, troubleshoot challenges, and refine your plan as needed. We use a collaborative approach, you're the expert on your life, and we're here to provide the nutrition knowledge and support to help you succeed. Most clients work with us for 3-6 months to establish solid habits and see lasting results.
Why Choose Bakke Wellness & Nutrition
What makes us different is our practical, non-diet approach to nutrition and weight management. We don't sell supplements, meal replacements, or require you to buy special foods. Instead, we teach you how to work with foods you already enjoy and can easily find at any grocery store.
Sarah's background as a working mom gives her unique insight into the real challenges families face when trying to eat healthier. She understands the juggling act of preparing nutritious meals while managing work, kids' activities, and household responsibilities. Our clients appreciate the judgment-free environment and the fact that we focus on adding healthy foods rather than restricting everything you love. We're also one of the few nutrition practices in the area that specifically addresses emotional eating and helps clients develop a healthier relationship with food.
