Scream Cream

Scream cream is a compounded topical preparation that brings together several vasoactive actives, commonly sildenafil, pentoxifylline, aminophylline and ergoloid, into a cream applied directly to the tissue before intimacy. The rationale is local: rather than a systemic pill, the actives work to increase blood flow and sensation where the cream is applied. Sildenafil and pentoxifylline improve tissue perfusion, while the other components contribute vasodilation.
