What the MOTS-c dose evidence actually is

No FDA label and no human trial of MOTS-c itself. The only human dosing data are for an analog, CB4211, at 25 mg daily.

The only human dosing study is of an analog, CB4211, given at 25 mg subcutaneously once daily for 28 days in a phase 1b trial. MOTS-c itself has no published human dose-finding study and no label.

Forum protocols range from a few hundred micrograms daily to 5 to 10 mg two or three times a week. They cannot all be right, and none of them is a trial result. Enter what you were given.

MOTS-c units at each water volume

The table uses a 10 mg vial. Each cell is the draw on a U-100 insulin syringe for that dose at that water volume. Cells above 100 units do not fit a 1 mL syringe; cells below 10 units sit in the part of a 1 mL barrel where measurement error rises, and a 0.5 mL or 0.3 mL syringe reads them better.

Mixing MOTS-c

A 10 mg vial with 2 mL gives 5 mg per mL, so 5 mg is a full 100-unit syringe and 2.5 mg is 50 units. If your dose is in the milligram range, mix with less water: 10 mg in 1 mL puts 5 mg at 50 units. If your dose is in the microgram range, mix with more.

Storing MOTS-c after mixing

Refrigerate after mixing. A 10 mg vial at 5 mg per dose is two doses. At 500 mcg daily it is 20 doses, inside 28 days.
